UEP Attends Joint Oath Taking and Induction Ceremonies of New Midwives and IMAP Members; Receives Top Performing School Award

The University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP) proudly participated in the Joint Oath Taking and Induction Ceremonies of new midwives and new members of the Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines (IMAP) held on May 19, 2025, at Century Park Hotel, Manila.

Attending the event were UEP President Dr. Evelyn Abalos-Tomboc, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Gloria C. Nemedez, and Dean of the College of Midwifery Dr. Glenda Ganzon. The event marked a momentous occasion not only for the newly licensed midwives but also for UEP as an academic institution committed to excellence in healthcare education.

During the ceremony, the University of Eastern Pangasinan was honored with an award for being Rank 6th among the Top Ten Performing Schools in the April 2025 Licensure Examination for Midwives. This recognition underscores UEP’s dedication to academic quality, student success, and service to the health sector.

The entire UEP community celebrates this milestone as a testament to the hard work of its faculty, administrators, and students in upholding the standards of midwifery education in the Philippines.
