UEP Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for 7-Storey Building

The University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP) officially broke ground on its upcoming 7-storey academic building during a momentous ceremony held on May 30, 2025, a significant milestone in the university’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and development.
In her welcoming remarks, University President Dr. Evelyn Abalos-Tomboc greeted the guests and the entire UEP community, emphasizing that the university remains rooted in the desire to make higher education accessible to every Filipino family by ensuring that each one has a college graduate.
Dr. Christine Nabor-Ferrer, CHED Regional Office I Director IV, also delivered an inspirational message, expressing her commitment to supporting the growth and development of higher education institutions across the region.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon. Ramon “Monmon” Guico III, UEP Founder and Governor of Pangasinan; Congressman Ramon N. Guico Jr. of the 5th District; and Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV of Binalonan. Their presence reaffirmed their enduring support for UEP and their shared commitment to educational progress in the province.
Governor Guico expressed his passion to strengthen and support education sector across Pangasinan to help them thrive and excel in the years to come.
